Support Our Work

Every gift here goes to children and families in our classrooms.

The Robert W. Lewis Jr. Scholarship Fund

Robert W. Lewis Jr. helped found Jammat Housing and Community Development Corporation, our parent organization. A businessman who served Providence’s West End for more than 25 years, he was a tireless advocate for families who were underserved. The building that houses Beautiful Beginnings is dedicated in his honor.

The scholarship fund in his name helps families facing financial hardship keep their child in care.

We are always grateful for in-kind gifts that support learning for children from six weeks to five years: new school supplies, games, puzzles, books and other classroom materials.
